Authenticity, creativity, and inspiration—this is my journey.
Hi, I’m Bella Zhu, a high school student interested in psychology, adolescent mental health, and the design of everyday emotional support.
My work focuses on one question: how can care become easier to reach before distress turns into a crisis?
Through campus healing spaces, student-friendly psychology materials, and rural-school Magic Corners, I explore how language, space, and small daily rituals can help students recognize emotions, feel less alone, and approach support without shame.
I am especially interested in making psychological knowledge more accessible — not only through research, but also through classrooms, walls, animals, mailboxes, conversations, and ordinary spaces where students already spend their time.
This website documents my projects, reflections, and ongoing attempts to make mental wellness support more reachable for young people.

Making psychology easier to use.

Making care feel alive.

Making support easier to approach.
I am a curious explorer, a practitioner of mental health care, and a public welfare volunteer. I serve as the President of the BBA Psychology Club and the Founder of Star-rise Charitable Foundation. Witnessing the mental stress faced by teenagers around me inspired me to keep moving forward. I integrate theoretical knowledge, practical experience and creative design to build inclusive and warm psychological support spaces for peers. I embrace challenges, keep an open mind, and insist on being sincere and down-to-earth in everything I do.
Engage in independent research on adolescent mental health stigma and design innovative neurofeedback training programs. Participate in international academic competitions and pre-college courses to deepen professional capabilities.
Run the school Psychology Club and Healing Space, design counseling rooms and organize various mental health activities. Provide anonymous consultation, emotional check-ins and group workshops for all teachers and students.
Cooperate with special education schools, public libraries and social organizations. Organize charity bazaars, performances and material donations to deliver care to vulnerable groups. Co-initiate mental health care program to help rural primary and middle school students.
